On July 30, the 1000th set of top cover of Siemens Munich Vectron project was offline in Liancheng group, which is another new milestone in the strategic cooperation with Siemens since the group expanded the European rail transit equipment market in 2006. Guo Naishun, general manager of Siemens Transportation equipment (China) Co., Ltd., and relevant responsible persons, Xiao Yongmin, chairman and general manager of the group, Yang Jiong and Li Xixi, deputy general managers, heads of major business platforms and Vectron project production teams attended the offline ceremony.
Guo Naishun delivered a speech on behalf of the Siemens team. He appreciated that the successful completion of 1000 sets of a project in the rail transit industry is extremely extraordinary. The sincere people are united from top to bottom, and the professional work quality of the project manufacturing team for more than ten years, the dedicated work attitude, and the work spirit of excellence are admirable. He said that Liancheng not only performed well in the delivery of the top cover of the Vectron project, but also the Mireo platform cooling device was successfully loaded in June this year and officially carried passengers for safe operation. Finland's top cover also passed the first inspection and evaluation in July. These are all comprehensive manifestations of Liancheng's manufacturing and management capabilities. He said that the ceremony of the 1000th set of top cover of the Munich Vectron project was very heavy and of great significance.
On behalf of the Group, Xiao Yongmin thanked the Siemens team for their continued guidance, support and assistance. It is understood that in 2007, Siemens signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Liancheng Group and moved the top cover production line of Munich Vectron Project to Liancheng. The trial production of the first top cover was completed in 2008. Its manufacturing capacity was approved by Siemens and 200 sets of top covers were delivered annually from the initial annual output of 50 sets of top covers. The products have been successfully loaded and operated in German Federal Railway Administration, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania. Mireo platform cooling device is the first time Siemens Transportation Group has purchased railway system integration components in China. Since the project exchange was started in September 2016, Siemens and Liancheng have set up the best team to carry out development and design. So far, 74 cooling devices have been delivered. Finland roof is the first double-layer structure aluminum alloy roof made in China. Compared with the original export project roof and domestic locomotive aluminum alloy roof, it also demonstrates the manufacturing capacity of Liancheng in line with international standards.
