On January 19, the 1000 kW large-capacity 100% pure lithium battery traction shunting locomotive independently developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Machinery Co., Ltd. will travel across the sea to Brazil to "work" by boat in Shanghai Port. The brain is smart, and the intelligent control system and wireless transmission system based on complex neural network can realize intelligent diagnosis, real-time monitoring and real-time data transmission. It is also a locomotive that loves the environment ~ 100% pure lithium battery green electricity to replace diesel, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It will help Vale achieve its goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 33% by the end of 2030, which is of great strategic significance for CRRC to serve the South American market.
It is also the first time in China to use 1000 kW-hour large-capacity lithium titanate batteries, the first time in China to use the American Railway Association standard driver platform, the first time in China to design a new generation of six-axis, 27-ton large axle weight 520 kN large traction, wide gauge.

In August 2019, CRRC Zhuji and Vale, one of the world's largest iron ore producers and one of the world's most valuable metals and minerals companies, signed a new energy shunting locomotive purchase contract, which is also the first American project signed by CRRC Zhuji.
Over the past two years, with the cooperation of Vale, CRRC has overcome the difficult challenges of epidemic, design, procurement, manufacturing and testing, and completed the project with high quality and efficiency.
The locomotive will arrive at Itaki Port in San Luis, Brazil, in March. After that, a series of work will be carried out in the integrated operation area of Vale Madeira Port, such as commissioning of the on-board signal system, trial operation of vehicles under wide-gauge conditions and on-site acceptance tests.
